Fighter jets accidentally drop bombs during exercises, injuring 8 South Koreans

The air force said the jets were taking part in a drill with the U.S. military in Pocheon, a city close to the border with North Korea, when they dropped bombs just outside a firing range.

South Korean fighter jets accidentally dropped eight bombs in a civilian area during a joint live-fire exercise with U.S. military forces in Pocheon, near the North Korean border. The MK-82 bombs were intended for a firing range but landed outside, injuring eight people and damaging several buildings, including houses, a church, and a greenhouse.
