A Florida sheriff's office is partnering with federal agencies like ICE and Border Patrol to apprehend illegal immigrants in St. Johns County, Florida, through a task force operating along the I-95 corridor. The task force is part of the 287(g) program. A Guatemalan migrant, Alexander Aguilar Velasquez, was arrested for driving without a license, and two Colombian migrants were also detained.
