Football League assistant referee, 46, 'charged with child sex offence involving teenage girl'

He is due to appear in court as he faces one charge of penetrative sexual activity with a girl aged between 13 and 15.

An EFL assistant referee, 46-year-old Gareth Viccars, has been charged with a child sex offence involving a teenage girl. He was suspended by the PGMOL following the allegations and is due to appear in court on March 3.
