Unite union members from across Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds will be staging action in the city today
Former Almost Famous workers, represented by Unite, are staging an emergency protest in Manchester on March 8th at 2pm outside Super Awesome Deluxe, a burger joint run by the original Almost Famous co-founder. The protest involves staff from Manchester, Liverpool, and Leeds sites, who lost their jobs in January when Almost Famous closed all locations. Some former staff are claiming unpaid wages, holiday pay, and tips. Almost Famous is reopening in Manchester under new ownership.
