Billy Taylor and his three crew members will row 5,500 miles across the Indian Ocean within 100 days for charity.
Former firefighter Billy Taylor and his three-person crew will row 5,500 miles across the Indian Ocean from Western Australia to Kenya in 100 days to raise £500,000 for Race Against Dementia and Rock2Recovery, in memory of Taylor's friend who died from Parkinson’s disease dementia. The crew will row in shifts on a 29ft boat, facing challenging conditions, while also collecting data on ocean plastic for Michigan University and sharing their journey with UK schools.
