Former Wales coach Scott Johnson among final candidates for WRU director of rugby job

The Welsh Rugby Union is nearing the end of the search for a new director of rugby, and the names of some of the candidates can be revealed



The WRU is nearing the end of its search for a new director of rugby to replace Nigel Walker, with an announcement expected within weeks. Former Wales attack coach Scott Johnson is a final candidate, along with Kingsley Jones and Huw Bevan. Other potential candidates include Huw Wiltshire, James Chapron, Jon Daniels, Dai Rees, Billy Millard, Guy Easterby, and Geordan Murphy. Stuart Lancaster is also admired by the WRU. The new director of rugby will oversee all rugby activity in Wales.
