A Galway man, Chris Joyce, helped launch the Rutland Centre's first fully funded Gambling & Gaming Specific Outpatient Programme. Supported by the HSE, the ten-week Dublin-based programme offers group work, seminars, and counseling for individuals over 18 with gambling addiction, including aftercare. It aims to address the gap in gambling addiction treatment, offering comprehensive support without financial barriers. Participants engage in structured group therapy and online psychoeducational seminars, with access to a Continuing Care program.
