George Clooney, the proud son of a journalist, likes journalism and telling truth to power
George Clooney will make his Broadway debut as Edward R. Murrow in an adaptation of his 2005 film "Good Night, and Good Luck," beginning March 12. Clooney, who co-wrote the movie, will also co-write the play with Grant Heslov and also play the role of Murrow and insisted on not being the highest paid actor on Broadway.. The play will incorporate footage of Senator McCarthy and resemble a newsroom. Clooney's father, a journalist, inspired his interest in journalism and telling truth to power.
