Ghanaian business firm Jonah Capital petitions ICPC and Nigeria’s Parliament over alleged takeover of Abuja real estate assets

A Ghanaian investment group has petitioned Nigeria’s Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC), alleging that the Registrar-General of Nigeria’s Corporate Affairs Commission unlawfully seized their shares and invalidated two decades of corporate records. In a petition dated December 16, 2025, the management of JonahCapital Nigeria Ltd and Houses For Africa Nigeria Ltd accuses CAC boss, Hussaini Ishaq Magaji (SAN), of "expropriation" and "abuse of office," actions they say threaten their multimillion-dollar investment in Abuja's River Park Estate and undermine investor confidence.
