Greenlanders are furious over proposals by Donald Trump that the US take over the territory
A Greenland travel agency, Tupilak Travel, canceled a planned visit by Usha Vance, wife of the U.S. Vice President, due to concerns about a hidden political agenda and potential media circus after the trip evolved to include her husband and National Security Advisor. This followed reports that Donald Trump continues to voice his efforts to 'buy' Greenland which caused fury by Greenlanders. The Vance's trip was reduced to a visit of the US space base as opposed to visiting cultural events.
