Greggs staff to get share of £20.5 million after sausage roll price increase

The bakery chain saw sales rise by 11.3 per cent from 2023 as it launched new shops, extended its opening hours and raised prices



Greggs will share £20.5 million with staff due to increased sales and profits, partly driven by price increases, including a sausage roll price rise to £1.30. Long-serving employees will receive around £850 each. The company's pre-tax profit rose by 8.3% to £203.9 million.
