The text provides an update on snow conditions in Romania, noting that the thickest snow layers, nearly a meter, are in high mountain areas. In inhabited regions, București Filaret recorded 31 cm and Băneasa 26 cm. Snow rapidly melted in Muntenia, decreasing by nearly 20 cm in two days. The thickest snow was at Ceahlău Toaca (90 cm) and Lăcăuți (89 cm). Significant reductions were seen in Titu (18 cm), Ploiești, and Pitești (17 cm each). Temperatures dropped below -20°C, with warmer days contributing to snow melt, according to the Romanian National Meteorological Administration.
