Hatton Garden jeweller didn't know he was selling part of £4.8million gold toilet after it was stolen from Blenheim Palace, court told

Jeweller Bora Guccuk, 41, who is accused of helping to sell part of the 'Bog of Gold' frpm Blenhaim Palace, took the precious metal from 40-year-old burglar, James Sheen.



A Hatton Garden jeweller, Bora Guccuk, claims he was unaware that gold he sold originated from the stolen £4.8 million gold toilet from Blenheim Palace. Guccuk and businessman Fred Doe deny converting or transferring criminal property. Guccuk's defense argues that he purchased the gold at market price, unaware of its stolen origin, and that James Sheen, the burglar, concealed the source to get a better price.
