Thomas Corry, the top spokesperson for the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), resigned after reportedly clashing with Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. over the agency's response to the measles outbreak. The resignation was attributed to disagreements over management and concerns about the muted response to the measles crisis, which has resurged in parts of the U.S., particularly in West Texas, where cases are at their highest in three decades. Kennedy has emphasized the importance of the MMR vaccine in addressing the outbreak.
