During a Virginia state indoor championship relay race, Brookville High School runner Kaelen Tucker was struck in the head with a baton by I.C. Norcom High School runner Alaila Everett after Tucker overtook her. Tucker's parents seek an apology from Everett's coach and Everett, who claims the incident was accidental. The Virginia High School League is investigating.
