Foreign Affairs Minister Penny Wong condemned threatening letters sent to Hong Kong activists in Australia, calling them a threat to national sovereignty and the safety of Australians. The letters, mailed from Hong Kong and Macau, offered money for information on the activists, accusing them of crimes and falsely claiming ties to controversial issues.
