An interactive map based on 2021 Census data reveals that in one area of England and Wales, 43% of residents struggle with English. The analysis covers nearly 36,000 neighborhoods and shows that almost a million people in England have limited or no English proficiency. Certain areas like parts of Leicester, the West Midlands, Newcastle, and Hampshire have high percentages of residents with poor English skills.
