Police say the dog was running free with no sign of an owner
Hunt for Staffie after boy, three, left needing surgery on his face
A three-year-old boy required surgery after being bitten on the face by a stray Staffie in North Ayrshire. The dog approached the boy in Leven Place, Castlepark, before attacking him. The child sustained facial injuries and underwent surgery at University Hospital Crosshouse. Police are searching for the dog.
