Alan Lawson, the boyfriend of 15-year-old Holly Newton, who was stabbed to death by her jealous ex-boyfriend Logan MacPhail, blames himself for her death. MacPhail, 16 at the time, stabbed Holly 36 times in Hexham after she ended their 18-month relationship. Lawson, 18, was also stabbed trying to defend Holly, while MacPhail was stalking her.
