The Deputy Minister-Designate for Justice, Srem-Sam, has stated that he did not apply directly to the nation's GETFund, but was shortlisted for the programme by the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
Deputy Minister nominee for Justice and Attorney General, Justice Srem-Sam, clarified that he did not personally apply for a GETFund scholarship but was selected by GIMPA, where he was a lecturer, to pursue his PhD studies in the UK in 2017. He made this statement during a parliamentary vetting session when questioned about his higher education funding.
