Idaho judge denies Bryan Kohberger defense motion to suppress key evidence

A judge has denied Idaho college murder suspect Bryan Kohberger's defense team request to suppress key evidence collected during search warrants.

A judge in Idaho denied Bryan Kohberger's defense team's motion to suppress key evidence in the case involving the murders of four University of Idaho students. The defense argued that two unidentified DNA samples found at the crime scene could suggest Kohberger's innocence. However, the judge, Steven Hippler, was unconvinced and rejected the motion, as well as a request for a Frank’s hearing to challenge the police investigation. Kohberger's trial is scheduled to begin in August, and if convicted, he could face the death penalty.
