Stephen Edenfield’s case went unsolved for 28 years before DNA analysis helped police find a suspect in his murder
In 1997, Stephen Edenfield was found beaten to death in his Tampa home, with the word "greed" written in blood on the wall. The case remained unsolved for 28 years until DNA analysis led to the arrest of Brandon Gliha, 47, this week. Gliha, arrested on an unrelated forgery warrant, claims he did not touch the victim. The sheriff's office confirms no other suspects are being investigated. Edenfield's brother, James, expressed shock at the resolution of the case.
