In latest blow to Tesla, regulators recall nearly all Cybertrucks

US regulators are recalling nearly all Cybertrucks, the eighth recall of the Tesla vehicles since deliveries to customers began just over a year ago

Tesla is recalling all 46,100 Cybertrucks due to faulty glue used to attach steel panels, potentially causing them to detach. This is the eighth recall for the Cybertruck since deliveries began in late 2023, with previous recalls related to issues like inverter faults, stuck acceleration pedals, windscreen wipers, and display screens. The recall comes amid a "Tesla Takedown" movement protesting Elon Musk's involvement in government, with threats of vandalism and a warning from President Trump of potential jail time for those sabotaging Teslas.
