In Dún Laoghaire, Ireland, Gardaí are investigating an incident where two women confronted an Israeli man, Tamir Ohayon, in a bar at the Royal Marine Hotel. One of the women, Zena Ismail, spat at Mr. Ohayon while verbally abusing him, stating that Zionists are not welcome in Ireland and claiming to know he was an Israeli soldier. The incident, filmed by both parties and posted online, shows Ms. Ismail and Léna Seale approaching Mr. Ohayon and verbally abusing him. Mr. Ohayon claimed the Gardaí were dismissive and he felt unsafe. The incident has been condemned by the Ireland Israel Alliance and the Fine Gael mayor of Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council.
