Israel resumes its bombing campaign after announcing renewed ground operations in central and southern Gaza.
Israeli strikes across Gaza killed at least 85 Palestinians overnight into Thursday, following the resumption of Israel's bombing campaign and ground operations. Israel also restored a blockade on northern Gaza and announced an additional ground operation. Over 400 Palestinians, mostly women and children, were killed on Tuesday alone. The Israeli military intercepted a missile launched by Yemen's Houthi rebels.
