Italian regions offer up to £25,000 to relocate to 'dreamy' locations

The country is visited by more than 57million people each year but now the government are trying to encourage people to stay longer than just a couple of weeks.

Italian regions, including Calabria and Sardinia, are offering financial incentives of up to £25,000 to attract relocations, with conditions such as starting a business. These initiatives aim to repopulate areas experiencing population decline due to young people moving to larger cities or abroad. Sardinia offers £12,418, while both regions provide grants of £828 for each newborn baby. The government seeks to reverse population decline through these incentives.
