Jack Fincham gives thumbs up as he avoids jail after appeal against prison sentence for dog attack

Love Island's Jack Fincham gave a thumbs up as he swerved jail time after appealing his six-week prison sentence over being in charge of a dangerously out-of-control dog

Jack Fincham, former Love Island winner, avoided jail after appealing his six-week prison sentence for being in charge of a dangerously out-of-control dog that bit a runner in 2022 and grabbed a woman's leg in 2024. The judge overturned the custodial sentence and instead extended his existing suspended sentence order for an unrelated driving matter by three months. He was originally sentenced in January, and the appeal was heard in Basildon Crown Court. Fincham still has to pay £3,680, including compensation to the victim.
