Jeffrey Epstein files latest: US Attorney General accuses FBI of withholding pages and demands Friday release

Pam Bondi has released flight logs and a partly-redacted contacts list related to the financier and sex offender

Jeffrey Epstein files latest: US Attorney General Pam Bondi has accused the FBI of withholding "thousands of pages" of Jeffrey Epstein documents and demanded their release by Friday morning. In a public letter to FBI Director Kash Patel, Bondi instructed the bureau to hand over all records related to Epstein and his clients by 8 a.m. on Friday. She also demanded an investigation into why the FBI allegedly withheld the documents despite repeated requests. The "Phase 1" release of Epstein files, which included 200 pages of previously disclosed information such as flight logs and a contacts list, disappointed conservative figures as it contained no major new allegations. The Justice Department expects little new information to be released, with officials calling the timing of the release a "distraction."
