John Lydon slams new Sex Pistols revival which doesn’t feature him as ‘karaoke’

‘They’re trying to trivialise the whole show to get away with karaoke,’ former band member said

John Lydon, the former frontman of the Sex Pistols, has criticized the band's recent revival tour, which excludes him, calling it "karaoke" and arguing it trivializes the band's legacy. The other original members, Steve Jones, Glen Matlock, and Paul Cook, have replaced Lydon with Frank Carter for the tour. Tensions arose after Lydon unsuccessfully sued to prevent their music from being used in a 2021 TV series. Additionally, Lydon, known for his right-wing views supporting Brexit, Donald Trump, and Nigel Farage, has stated he will not return to Britain.
