A judge approved the conditional release of Morgan Geyser, one of the "Slender Man" stabbers, despite new concerns from the psychiatric hospital where she was held. Geyser, along with Anissa Weier, stabbed a classmate in 2014 to please the fictional character. The hospital filed a petition to revoke her release due to concerns about her reading material and contact with an older man, but the judge denied the petition, stating the state did not provide sufficient evidence to keep her detained. A hearing to discuss Geyser's release plan is scheduled.
