Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has ordered an investigation into reports of civil servants' salary underpayment and non-payment, calling it a violation of workers' rights. A high-powered committee, including members such as Abdulkadir Abdussalam and others, has been formed to investigate the discrepancies. The governor assured accountability and warned against exploitation, emphasizing prompt action and justice for affected workers. The committee was inaugurated by the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Umar Faruk Ibrahim, on behalf of the governor.
