The Prinzenempfang 2025, organized by the Rheinische Post Mediengruppe, took place in Düsseldorf-Heerdt, gathering hundreds of Karneval participants, including Prinzen, Prinzessinnen, Venetien, and others. The event coincided with the tollen Tage, just after Altweiber. Despite the Prinz's hoarse voice, the traditional song "Düsseldorf Helau" was sung, showcasing the event's continuity. Attendees included groups from beyond Düsseldorf, such as the Schlossnarren from Benrath, adding regional diversity. The event also featured community involvement, with readers like Angelika and Wolfgang Reich attending as contest winners.
