La balance commerciale alimentaire excédentaire de 174,4 MDT en janvier 2025

In January 2025, Tunisia reported a food trade surplus of 174.4 million dinars, a decrease from 469.2 million dinars in January 2024. The coverage rate fell to 125% from 192.8% the previous year. Exports dropped by 10.6%, while imports rose by 37.9%. The surplus decline was due to reduced exports of olive oil (-14.7%), dates (-2.7%), and fisheries products (-54.4%), alongside increased imports of sugar (+65.1%) and cereals (+32.2%).
