L’amnistie de Leopold Senghor à Macky Sall : Ces quatre présidents qui ont effacé des crimes

Senegal has a history of amnesty laws, with four presidents granting them for political reasons. Léopold Senghor first amnestied Mamadou Dia and others involved in a coup attempt in 1976. Abdou Diouf granted amnesty in 1991 for crimes related to the Casamance conflict. Abdoulaye Wade implemented an amnesty law, known as the Ezzan law, after the Me Babacar Sèye affair. Most recently, Macky Sall passed an amnesty law that is currently under debate.
