The Sudanese army retook the presidential palace in Khartoum from the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) on Friday. The RSF retaliated with a drone strike that killed three state television journalists covering the army's recapture. The head of the Sudanese army stated there would be no negotiations with the RSF until they withdraw and disarm. The conflict in Sudan, which began in April 2023, has caused tens of thousands of deaths and displaced over 12 million people.
