Pope Francis is scheduled to return to the Vatican on Sunday after a five-week hospitalization for double pneumonia. He will make a public appearance to deliver a greeting and blessing during the Angelus prayer from Gemelli Hospital before returning to the Vatican for a convalescence period of at least two months. His pneumonia is under control, although not eliminated, and his health is improving. This will be his first public appearance since being hospitalized on February 14th. The Pope is very happy to be released.
