The tanker, carrying jet fuel, is operated by Swedish company Stena Bulk and flies a US flag. The cargo ship, Solong, flies a Portuguese flag and is owned by German company Reederei Köpping. Emergency services responded with helicopters, lifeboats, a plane, and fire-fighting vessels.
