Liberal voters directed to wrong polling station in battleground Toronto riding

Liberal voters in one of Toronto's most hotly-contested battleground ridings were mistakenly directed to the wrong station in what could prove a costly election day fumble.A voter in midtown Toronto's Eglinton—Lawrence riding reported that homes on their block were issued flyers on behalf of Liberal candidate Vince Gasparro in the morning hours after the polls opened.The flyer directed voters from at least one Glencairn Avenue address, and possibly other streets, to cast their ballots at John Wanless Public School, contradicting voter information cards specifying the correct location of Glenview Senior Public School.Luckily, the voters who reported this discrepancy had already cast their ballots by the time the flyer arrived on their doorsteps, but it raises questions of just how widespread this error was.A representative from Gasparro's campaign confirmed the report to blogTO, explaining that "after some investigation, it looks like a...
