Longtime coach with the Lethbridge Polytechnic Kodiaks retires

After over a decade in charge of the Lethbridge Polytechnic Kodiaks' men's and women's soccer and futsal teams, the winningest coach in the program's history is retiring.



Sean Carey, the winningest coach in Lethbridge Polytechnic Kodiaks history, is retiring after leading the men's and women's soccer and futsal teams since 2009. He received multiple ACAC Coach of the Year awards and a CCAA national men's Coach of the Year award. Carey focused on developing student-athletes and improving their academic standing. During his tenure, he coached numerous All-Conference and All-Canadian players, and led teams to CCAA national championships. His replacement will be announced soon.
