Andrejs Rastorgujevs, a top Latvian biathlete, accused his coach, Ilmars Bričis, of attacking him, resulting in a broken nose and finger. Rastorgujevs displayed his injuries on TV. Bričis claims it was self-defense after Rastorgujevs entered his hotel room with his child. Rastorgujevs, a medalist, did not defend his World Championship title and may leave the team if Bričis remains. The case is under police investigation.
