Mahama called for a cap on Supreme Court justices, but he has appointed 7 in 6 months

The National Imam of Shia, Sheikh Abubakar Kamaldeen, has questioned President John Mahama for appointing 7 Supreme Court justices in 6 months after telling Ghanaians he would place a cap on nominations. At the Muslim National Thanksgiving Day in Accra Tuesday, Sheikh Kamaldeen, right in front of President Mahama expressed concern over what he said was the increasing manipulation of the judiciary by politicians and referenced President Mahama's contradiction in opposition and in government to buttress his point of judicial manipulation, which he said has increased the people's lack of confidence in the judiciary.
