Regin Parithapara Rajan denies murdering his wife at their home in Wilton, Cork
Regin Parithapara Rajan is on trial in Cork, charged with the July 14, 2023 murder of his wife, Deepa Dinamani, at their Wilton home. Rajan denies the charge. The prosecution alleges the marriage had deteriorated and that Rajan confessed to killing his wife. Dinamani, originally from India, had a seven-year-old son and had been in Ireland for three months. The trial is expected to last three weeks.
