Clear skies in Scotland overnight into Sunday mean it is a good spot to possibly see the displays of light from the aurora borealis.
The Met Office predicts an enhanced chance of seeing the Northern Lights in the UK tonight, particularly in northern Scotland due to clear skies. There's also a chance of sightings further south, especially with long exposure photography. The increased activity of the sun means more displays are expected until mid-year. Best viewing requires a dark location away from light pollution.
