The medal, awarded to Luke after destroying the Death Star, is believed to have been worn by actors Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill during rehearsals. It is described as the first and only such medal to be publicly sold, coming from the collection of props master Gerard Bourke. Additionally, Chewbacca’s bowcaster, featured in the original trilogy, is also being auctioned with an estimated value of $250,000 to $500,000.
