Despite media reports suggesting cancellation, the Taoiseach confirmed a planned meeting with Jewish leaders in Washington DC is still scheduled. The meeting was arranged following contact from Jewish representatives in the US and aims to facilitate respectful dialogue regarding Ireland's perspective on the Middle East and the conflict in Gaza. The Taoiseach stated his openness to meeting with a broad range of Jewish organizations, while noting that groups pulling out is "not a matter for me."
