The Indian government, through MeitY, launched the AI Compute Portal offering affordable AI processing and 10,000+ GPUs and AIKosha, a repository of datasets and AI models, to boost AI innovation. These initiatives were announced on the first anniversary of the IndiaAI Mission, alongside plans for AI Data Labs in Tier 2 and 3 cities and an acceleration program for Indian AI startups.
