The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) has issued a yellow alert for heavy snowfall in several counties, including Bucharest. Daytime temperatures will range from -3°C in northern Moldavia to 10°C in western Oltenia, while nighttime lows will reach as low as -12°C in Maramureș and northern Moldavia. Snowfall will continue overnight in the Southern Carpathians and parts of Oltenia, Muntenia, Dobrogea, and isolated areas in the Eastern Carpathians and Apuseni Mountains. Winds will increase in the west, east, and southeast, with speeds of 50-65 km/h. In Bucharest, temperatures will drop sharply, with snow accumulation of 1-3 cm overnight. Daytime highs will be 1-3°C, and lows will range from -4°C to -2°C. The ANM advises caution in traffic due to cold temperatures and potential heavy snowfall.
