Mia Love, the first Black Republican woman elected to Congress, representing Utah from 2015 to 2019, has died at age 49. The daughter of Haitian immigrants, Love served as mayor of Saratoga Springs, Utah, before entering Congress. She was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2022.
