Although fewer than 100 of the 61,343 cars stolen in the UK last year were exotic vehicles, many are worth in excess of £100k and tally to a total of more than £5million.
In 2024, over £5 million worth of luxury and supercars were stolen in the UK, with an interactive heat map highlighting theft hotspots. The most expensive stolen car was a 2024 Ferrari Purosangue SUV valued at £375,000, while the least valuable was a 2016 Ford Fiesta worth £5,000. Nine of the top 10 most expensive cars were stolen in England, including three in London, though London isn't the hotspot when considering population. The stolen vehicles included a Rolls-Royce Cullinan, Lamborghini Urus Performante, and Bentley Continental GT S. The data, sourced from DVLA records following a freedom of information request, shows that while newer cars are less likely to be stolen, some older models like a 1987 Aston Martin V8 Volante also featured in the list.
