Leeanne Boyle plans to open an exotic animal sanctuary in Abbeyknockmoy, North Galway, housing around 70 birds (mainly parrots) and other animals like pigs, turtles, and goats, in a family-friendly setting at Abbert Demesne. She aims to provide more space and natural environments for rescued animals and will offer exotic animal care courses in partnership with a Dublin college.
